Science Week!

 We LOVE Science in room 14! This week we planned lots of learning & activities for Science Week. We have been learning about the 3 states of matter-liquids, solids & gases and we had great (messy!!) fun making oobleck which looks like a liquid but feels like a solid! We also did a real fun STEM challenge & worked as engineers - each table had to design & build the tallest paper tower they could using paper, sellotape, scissors & glue. The winners were The Egghead's Table with an impressive tower of 1m 25cm. The competition was so close & all teams worked really well together. I think we have some future engineers on our hands!! Tomorrow we will have a live talk from Let's Talk Science online- all about Bats- we learned about bats before Halloween so we are looking forward to learning some more!
